VAM STUDIO is an award winning, full service production company and film duo behind some of the most disruptive narratives, commercials and branded content in culture today. The VAM team is comprised of married couple Jordan and Vincent Martell with crews established in Los Angeles, Seattle, New York, Chicago, and Europe.
Part of what makes VAM unique is our holistic approach to filmmaking. So much of our work derives from community practices, as well as creating a collaborative working environment. The majority of our productions are ran by queer people and people of color and we believe that representation should be found both in front and behind the cameras. Tonally, we work from anywhere between the comedic sphere to the dramatic space and are never afraid to dream big. We straddle the line between art-house and convention in an authentic and community-led way.
Our productions have been nominated for Emmys, Webbys, Streamys, and Queertie Awards and have streamed at festivals across the globe, including winning the Bushwick Film Festival Programmer's Choice Award as well as selected Vimeo’s staff picks.
VAM has worked with commercial brands such as Apple, Nike, Dr. Martens, Redbull, Verano, and Airbnb as well as National and Global Foundations such as MacArthur, Richard Driehaus and AIDS Foundations. VAM has also produced music videos for award winning artists like Jamila Woods, Madison McFerrin, Chance The Rapper and Esperanza Spalding. VAM's work has been profiled in Vogue, Time Magazine, Elle, Rolling Stone, New York Times, Forbes, Tribune, Out Magazine, Pitchfork, Paper Magazine, Advocate, and NPR.
