Life and business partners, we craft disruptive stories that center nuanced diverse narratives across commercial, editorial, and artistic landscapes. Our collaborative body of work includes directing and producing award-winning original narrative series such as Damaged Goods and Finesse (Bushwick Film Festival winner; Streamy, Webby, and Queertie nominees), alongside striking music visuals for artists like Jamila Woods, Esperanza Spalding, Madison McFerrin, and Shea Couleé. Together, our commercial portfolio spans global brands including Nike, Apple, Airbnb, Red Bull, Spotify, Dr. Martens and Viacom International and our advocacy work has supported humanitarian organizations such as The AIDS Foundation, NAMI and The Transgender Law Center, among others. Part of what makes VAM unique is our holistic approach to filmmaking. So much of our work derives from community practices and the majority of our productions are run by queer people and people of color. Directing from a shared commitment to elevating underrepresented voices, VAM blends ethereal, yet human-centered aesthetics with high-impact visual design. Our work has been profiled in Vogue, The New York Times, Rolling Stone, Out Magazine, and NPR, cementing our studio as a premiere home for bold, inclusive storytelling.
